Maricopa Cup R7 (Sat Sep 27 08)
After two weeks of Season 6 league the players returned to the more relaxed play of the Maricopa Cup.
While this is only the third time David Jensen has taken part in a Southern California Subbuteo Club event he is proving a tough opponent, finishing the day with one victory and one draw...
Season 6 (Fri Sep 26 08)
Adam Carlson played his first games of Season 6. He was unfortunate to lose his first game of the night to Dominic Hutchinson, who scored the only goal of the game on his only attack in the game. Despite losing to Wayne Smith and Simon Hutchinson Adam's flicking ability showed how much he is improving.
In the first of the "derby" games, the battle of the Hutchinsons, father, Simon, beat son, Dominic.
Wayne remains unbeaten in first place. Simon's two wins confirmed him in third place. The three points from Dominic's victory over Adam allowed him to move up from sixth to fourth place, tied with Munir Merchant with four points.
