Who has played the most? (Mon Sep 24 07)
Dominic Hutchinson asked which players had played the most games in the SCSC. It is no surprise that Wayne Smith, co-founder of the SCSC, has played more games than anyone else. It is a surprise to find that only three other players have played more than 100 games.
| Pos | Games | Player |
| 1 | 259 | Wayne Smith (1998 - present) |
| 2 | 166 | Simon Hutchinson (2005 - present) |
| 3 | 124 | Kevin Nieman (2005 - present) |
| 4 | 112 | Greg Willey (1998 - 2006) |
| 5 | 98 | Steve Tucker (2005 - present) |
| 6 | 89 | Bruce Farrar (1998 - 2006) |
| 7 | 79 | Ric Rivas (2005 - 2006) |
| 8 | 68 | Dominic Hutchinson (2006 - present) |

From the FISTF newsletter (Thu Sep 13 07)
From FISTF newsletter No. 170
News from Southern California
Wayne Smith's dominance of the Maricopa Cup continued on Sunday September 9 as he won all of the games he played
and conceded only three goals. With eight rounds played, and only three rounds remaining, his 23 point lead looks unassailable. In the Newcomers Cup Dominic
Hutchinson's two wins puts him into a 10 point lead over the other players who started playing the game this year.
The SCSC regulars were joined by Edward Nathan, who had not played for several years. He went onto to prove that you can still win games using the Subbuteo
lightweight bases, as he won three and drew one of his six games.
Dominic Hutchinson pulled off one of the surprises of the day. It was not that he beat Adam Carlson, the surprise was that he scored five goals, a new personal best
for him.![]()

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and pass my thanks on to all the SoCal guys.

Edward Nathan made the two hour journey from Loma Linda to take part in his first SCSC event. He had not played for years and when he turned up with a teams on the old “cereal bowl” bases and with the small Subbuteo goalkeepers we decided he should be classed as a newcomer.
