Wayne took an early lead, and only a few minutes later scored an own goal. All of Wayne's goals came from rolling balls, as he realized that if he paused before taking a shot Simon would either block the shot or be ready with his keeper.

This was not a defensive game with both players pushing forward in the first half, but unable to get a decent shot on target. As the second half started Wayne complained about his inability to chip Simon's keeper. The first goal came mid way through the half, and the second near the end of the game.
