Season 6 ran from September 2008 to January 2009. The season was
divided into two parts. In the first everyone played each twice, in what
we called Stage One. Thereafter, the players were divided into two groups.
The top four went into the Championship play off group and three of the bottom
four went into the Wooden Spoon play off group, in Stage Two. Dominic
Hutchinson was the player who did not take part in the Stage Two.
The players in each group played each other twice. Two champions were
declared, the first place player in the Championship play off group was declared
the "Season 6 Champion", and the first place player in the Wooden Spoon play off
group was declared the "Season 6 Wooden Spoon Champion". The player who
finished bottom of the Wooden Spoon play off group was awarded a wooden spoon.
