 The California State Championship trophies |
This year's tournament is the fourth annual state championship. When the California Subbuteo Association disbanded, in May 2009, they bequeathed the organizing of the state championship to the Southern California Subbuteo Club.
There are three trophies:
- State champions trophy
- Missions trophy (Mary Jane)
- Sierra trophy (under 19)

In 2009 the tournament consisted of one group, and the Missions trophy was presented to the player who finished in second place.

This year the state championship is also an American Subbuteo Association Open and a Federation International Sports Table Football Future tournament. This competition is only the second FISTF tournament held in California.
