A mercy rules was used. When one player took a four goal lead over their opponent the games was stopped.
Two late withdrawals reduced the number of participants to four. Therefore, there was one group and all of the participants would play each other. Fortunately the last round of games became the "finals" for the Open and Mary Jane as first played second and third faced fourth.
The Open final was a closely fought affair where the defenses dominated the game. Wayne Smith took a two goal before, Steve pulled one back to make a interesting final few minutes as Wayne had to defend his one goal lead.
